Heating with rocket technology replaces inefficient ceiling fans

Heating costs finally under control

Jan Bremer, CEO of Autohaus Bremer, describes how he got his heating costs under control with the efficient heating system from the Austrian manufacturer Puls-air.

The Bremer dealership in Celle specializes in the sale and repair/maintenance of Toyota brand vehicles. In 2007, a reconstruction took place, which created a larger hall in which to work.

Resignation of ceiling fans and underfloor heating

Until 2022, parts of the Bremer dealership were heated with underfloor heating (gas) and ceiling fans (gas). Due to the rising gas prices in connection with other factors such as the unpleasant noise of the ceiling fans, Autohaus Bremer GF Jan Bremer was looking for an alternative.

Efficiency simply explained

Assume a workshop is heated with ceiling fans. Until the warm water from the boiler room is transported through the pipes to the blowers, heat and thus money is lost. Furthermore, the lighter warm air is released at the top and usually does not reach where it is needed. The heat remains on the ceiling above and the employees freeze below. In addition to the loud noise, the heating costs are high and the heat distribution is poor.

Floor heating systems are very expensive to purchase & operate. Rapid weather changes, as well as frequent door openings, closings bring the sluggish system to its limits.

Puls-air's fuel-oil-powered workshop and hall heater with 97% efficiency releases heat where it is needed. The heater stands with a footprint of approx. 1 m² on the floor of the space to be heated and heats the room air. This creates a slowly rotating thermal air roll in the room. Principle: The warm air is distributed in the floor area, rises slowly, cools down again at the top, sinks again and is drawn through the heater preheated again and again. The room is heated evenly, saving heating costs.

Bremen convinced of pulse air

The simple but ingenious principle also convinced GF Bremer. In 2022, he decided to turn off the 4 ceiling fans and heat the entire workshop with a Puls-air heater.

Bremer mentioned the following advantages in an interview with Puls-air. Commissioning turned out to be very simple. Place the unit, connect the 230 V power supply, discharge the exhaust gas through the roof into the open air (no extra chimney required), connect it to a larger heating oil tank or operate it with the tank supplied. DONE

His employees report positively on the running noise of the patented heater from Austria. "No comparison to the disturbing background noise of the 4 ceiling fans".

Flexibility and independence

"If we switch on the heating in the morning, the entire workshop is warm in 10-15 minutes. In addition, you are independent of gas and can then refuel when the heating oil price is okay," reports GF Bremer.
