Ronny Zwinscher, Managing Director of Autocenter Altmittweida, reports on his experiences with the Austrian heating system Puls-air.
With his 28 employees, Ronny Zwinscher, Managing Director of Autocenter Altmittweida in Saxony, is the contact for repairs to all types of vehicles. At Autocenter Altmittweida, vehicles can not only be repaired, but also purchased. The company is a partner of the manufacturers Citroen and Peugeot. In addition, motorhomes can also be purchased and repaired. The Autocenter is available for its customers in warm and cold seasons and offers the "full program" around cars and motorhomes.
In the car center, a total of 3 premises are heated with the heaters of the Austrian manufacturer Puls-air. The devices run on fuel oil. The premises are between 600 m³ and 3,600 m³ in size.
The 1st heater was purchased about 5 years ago, after GF Mr. Zwinscher saw the device at a trade fair. With further premises further heaters followed and in the meantime even 3 are in use. Until the purchase of the 1st Puls-air device, the branch was heated with district heating, until then it was very cold because the heating costs were very high. With the reconstruction, the car center decided then to put into operation a new economical heating Puls-air.
GF Mr. Zwinscher reports extremely positively on the rapid temperature distribution and heating. He has set the temperature to approx. 15 degrees, which the newly built 600 cubic meter hall reaches in only 15 minutes.
As a comparison, Mr. Zwinscher mentions another room in which underfloor heating was installed. He finds this to be sluggish and inflexible, especially during weather changes and frequent door openings. Of course, an underfloor heating works completely noiselessly, which Mr. Zwinscher mentions in direct comparison to the Puls-air, but one quickly gets used to the working noise of the heating device from Austria.
Especially when buying his 3rd Puls-air device, a mobile use was very important to Mr. Zwinscher. This makes heating very uncomplicated - and what's more, the Puls-air heater can be operated without a permit as a mobile heater. For Mr. Zwinscher in this situation, besides the economy, the biggest advantage of the heater.
Zwinscher finds the heater an optimal solution for economical and flexible heating of larger halls and describes it as "a story that works for everything."
