In 1970, Autohaus Kern was founded by master craftsman Herber Kern as a leased workshop with gas station in Langenenslingen. As a Honda contract partner, a showroom was built in 1986 and a new automotive workshop with warehouse and office in 1996. In 2008 Herbert Kern handed over the business to his son Roland Kern (master car mechanic). Since 2011, the car dealership has been expanded to include the Nissan brand and in 2017 also a car wash. In the meantime, the car dealership has existed for 48 years and employs 12 people distributed among workshop, accounting, sales and parts.
The old heating system did not manage to keep the room warm or to heat it evenly, explained Roland Kern. "So I kept looking around for alternatives until I finally came across Puls-air in 2015 through an article in the trade magazine Autohaus." For my workshop, which is 3600 m³ in size, Mr. Pletzer recommended two Puls-air heaters, Kern described. "The conversation with Mr. Pletzer was very pleasant and I received competent advice. The delivery was also very fast via a freight forwarder, which impressed me positively!"
Thanks to the ready-to-use delivery of the heaters, we were able to put them into operation quickly and easily after they had been approved by the chimney sweep without any problems. This confirmed dream exhaust values, raves Kern. The pleasant heat distribution, the quiet operation and the enormous heating capacity of the heaters make my employees happy and they no longer have to struggle with cold in the workshop, Kern adds. In addition, thanks to Puls-air, we managed to heat the workshop for two complete winters with only 5000 liters of heating oil, and most of the time we even have to run only one unit, which makes me feel very positive! So positive that in February 2018 I ordered another Puls-air heater for the new wash hall.
Kern recommends Puls-air heaters to all industrial rooms and workshops which, in addition to a good room climate, pleasant room temperature, quiet operation, simple commissioning, also want to save heating costs and have satisfied employees in the cold season! Acceptance & commissioning are very user-friendly and not as with other heating solutions with a lot of effort. We were able to carry out the commissioning without a heating engineer, which is also very positive.
