Reinhard Maly, Managing Director of Autohaus Maly in Schrems, Lower Austria, reports on his experiences with Puls-air - the efficient workshop and hall heating system from Tyrol.
The history of Autohaus Maly is like a picture book. Gerhard Maly takes over the workshop from Mr. Alois Greiner in 1981 as a "VW partner workshop". Mr. Maly Senior transforms the business into a complete VW and Audi dealership. A large used car lot is created & the business is gradually modernized and expanded. In 2010 the sole proprietorship becomes a limited liability company. The new managing director is Mr. Richard Maly - son of Gerhard Maly. In the meantime, Autohaus Maly employs more than 30 people. In the enterprise also wife Renate Maly, as well as also son of the GF Richard Maly work. A real showcase family business.
The winters, just on the border with the Czech Republic, are long and frosty. In 1993, the company was looking for a heating system for the approx. 1,500 cubic meter cleaning hall. After a consultation, Gerhard Maly decided for the first time in favor of the economical heater from Tyrol.
Managing Director Richard Maly reports on his experience with the heating system from Tyrol. Commissioning turned out to be very simple. Place the unit on the floor of the room to be heated, discharge the exhaust gas into the open air, plug it into a 230-volt socket, connect it to the heating oil tank and the unit is ready for operation.
Mr. Maly compared the heat distribution from the Puls-air heater to ceiling fans he uses in another space. "We operate the ceiling fans with district heat, but they have a hard time getting the warm air to the floor area where we need it. The Puls-air heater sits on the floor and creates a nice roll of air that warms up the entire room." Employees at Autohaus Maly also find the distribution of warm air throughout the room commendable.
Mr. Maly confirms that he saves about 50% of the previous heating costs per winter compared to the ceiling fans. This is not only good for Mr. Maly, but also for our environment.
