Managing director and founder Johann Bauer in an interview with Puls-air
The brand-free Autowelt Weiden GmbH in Weiden in the Upper Palatinate has been in existence since 2004. Together with 15 employees, Autowelt Weiden specializes in the sale of new and used cars of all makes and models. Furthermore, a master workshop for all makes and a towing and breakdown service belong to the services, the Autowelt. Everything under one roof. And everything that is under one roof must be heated in the winter to be able to work professionally and properly.
As part of a presentation by the Upper Palatinate Motor Vehicle Guild, Mr. Bauer was offered the opportunity to have a free technical business consultation conducted by the Guild. Part of this consultation was also the analysis of the "energetic side of the business". It was found that the output of the company's existing oil heating system was not sufficient to properly heat the workshop and the sales room in winter. On cold days, the existing oil heating had to be turned up, causing enormous additional heating costs, Bauer described. In the interview, Bauer also mentioned that his building was already over 50 years old and poorly insulated.
The guild's consultant suggested to Bauer that he choose a different solution for heating the workshop, pointing to the efficient workshop heaters from Austrian heater manufacturer Puls-air. In 2011, owner and managing director Bauer then purchased a Puls-air heater for the workshop.
"I now use the old heater exclusively for the sales room, the workshop is heated completely by the Puls-air heater. This saves me about 2,000 liters of heating oil a year, the heat distribution is super and the workshop is at working temperature between 16 and 18 degrees in just 10 minutes in the morning after the unit is switched on." The employees of Autowelt Weiden GmbH really appreciate the fast and even heat and can go about their work in the 1,440 m³ workshop early in the morning without freezing.
When asked: To whom would you recommend Puls-air, Bauer replied: "Not only car repair shops, but anyone who wants to heat a larger hall efficiently, environmentally friendly and inexpensively." The commissioning of the unit was also interesting. Connect it to an oil tank, pipe the exhaust gas outside, plug in the power and you're done. That's all it took, and the chimney sweep isn't the least bit interested in the device because it doesn't involve any effort on his part, according to owner Bauer.
Puls-air has key advantages that clearly set it apart from other heater manufacturers:
In the "exhaust pipe" between the combustion chamber and the vibration decoupler, an oscillating gas column is created in which the gas changes its flow direction 62 times a second. This violent gas movement generates additional heat. This explains the high efficiency and amazing economy of Puls-air. This so-called pulsating combustion is patented and may only be installed in the Puls-air heaters.
In addition, only Austrian and German components are used for production, which means that the Puls-air heaters reliably heat any premises (halls or workshops) with minimal interference. A positive side effect of the clean combustion and the high-quality components is that the heater requires no maintenance, which makes both the boss and the employees happy.
