50 % of heating cost savings
"Small, compact and very efficient"
Graz/Styria. Since moving into a new workshop, the specialist engine technology company Coolchevy Raceparts has been heating with the oil-powered Puls-air heater from Tyrol and is delighted with its efficiency and compact size.
Puls-air is the most efficient heating solution for workshops and halls. Thanks to the built-in patented pulsating combustion, which originates from engine research, and the physically sensible positioning on the floor of the room to be heated, most hall owners save 50 % and even more of the previous heating costs. Thanks to the particularly quiet operation of the Puls-air appliances, no odors or exhaust fumes enter the room.
Simply explained, pulsating combustion is not a direct current combustion, as it takes place in normal oil burners, but an alternating current combustion. An oscillating gas column is created in the combustion chamber, which changes direction 62 times per second. The exhaust gas molecules are broken down to the atomic level and the soot-covered skin is destroyed. The gas column generates enormous heat with low consumption. The result: an efficiency of at least 97 %, excellent exhaust gas values - soot number 0.
It's a familiar situation. The lighter warm air is under the ceiling at the top and the employees are freezing at the bottom. Puls-air is physically positioned correctly on the floor of the room to be heated - this allows the warm air to be distributed below where work is being carried out, then slowly rises, cools down again at the top, sinks back down and is preheated by the fan on the device before being drawn past the burner again and again. This creates a thermal air roll that heats the entire room evenly and significantly reduces heating costs.
Puls-air is so compact that it is delivered on a Euro pallet. Dimensions approx. 75 x 5 5x 95 at 75 kg. The exhaust gas is routed outside via the roof using a 35 mm stainless steel pipe. No separate chimney is required! The manufacturer recommends connecting the appliance to a larger tank. All in all, Puls-air is very easy to put into operation and the clean combustion means that maintenance costs are close to zero. You can carry out minor service work yourself.
Puls-air has been on the market since 1984 and was developed by Georg Pletzer, who at the time was working intensively on engines and, in particular, the pulse engine. During his research, he noticed that pulsating combustion generates enormous heat with very low fuel consumption and excellent exhaust values. As a man of action, he began to use his findings to develop a heater that makes other heaters look cold in terms of consumption and efficiency. Puls-air is now in its 3rd generation, and the enthusiasm continues to grow.
Puls-air was awarded the Austrian State Prize for Energy Research and the Environment and the Bavarian State Prize for Special Technical Achievements in Craftsmanship.
The Puls-air team will advise you by phone, email or WhatsApp on which heater is right for you and answer all your questions.
There are 2 models of Puls-air. Puls-air Standard up to 600 m³ and Puls-air Plus up to 1,800 m³. Both values with very good insulation. For larger rooms, several devices can also be used in combination.
With conventional ceiling fans, a lot of heat is lost through long pipes. Heating large quantities of water in the boiler also requires a lot of energy. In addition, conventional oil burners have poor efficiency. With Puls-air, the efficiency is 97 %, which means that almost all the fuel that is introduced is converted into heat. In addition, Puls-air stands on the floor of the room to be heated, releases the warm air where it is being used and creates a slowly rotating thermal air roll in the room. The air is not always heated from 0, but is drawn through the heater again and again, preheated.
GF Schinagl also notices positively that the running noise of Puls-air is much more pleasant and that much less dust is whirled up than with the ceiling fans.
