Save 50% on heating costs
Angelo Zeiter, Managing Director of Fahrzeugcenter Goms, describes how he has been heating his workshop efficiently and with minimum effort for over 6 years.
In 2016, Mr. Zeiter is the managing director at Fahrzeugcenter Goms in Switzerland. With his currently 6 employees, Zeiter repairs and services vehicles of all brands. Furthermore, the vehicle center specializes in new and used car sales, as well as vehicle preparation, air conditioning service, diagnostics and classic car restorations.
When he took over the company in 2016, Zeiter completely rebuilt it and started looking for a suitable workshop heating system. He finally found what he was looking for on the Internet.
After Zeiter had informed himself extensively on the Internet about the fuel-oil-powered heater from Austria, he convinced himself of Puls-air from a colleague in the industry and placed his order.
Puls-air is delivered on a Euro pallet and is ready for operation in just a few steps. Zeiter made a connection to the existing heating oil tank (via 8mm copper pipe) and led the exhaust gas (via 35 mm stainless steel pipe) over the roof into the open air. Plug in 230 V electricity - DONE. There is no zzl. Chimney necessary. Thanks to the supplied 20 liter tank (attached to the back of the unit), the heater is ready for immediate use. Recommendation: Connect with larger tank.
The goal of any workshop heating should be that heat is generated where work is done. Most often, work is done in the floor area and that is where the heat should be. The Puls-air heater must therefore be placed on the floor of the room to be heated. Consequently, the warm air is distributed in the floor area, slowly rises after a certain time, cools down a little at the top and is preheated and sucked in again by the heater. This is what the manufacturer of Puls-air calls "a slowly rotating thermal air roller". If one compares a conventional ceiling fan to this, it is clear that the heat distribution there cannot be optimal purely physically. Additional energy must even be expended to transport the warm air from the ceiling to the floor area. Efficiency looks different! For the reasons mentioned, Angelo Zeiter is also very satisfied with the heat distribution in his workshop.
Puls-air only uses components from Austria and Germany. The superior quality is also mentioned by Mr. Zeiter, whose device has performed reliably since day 1 until today.
As the name suggests, pulsating combustion is built into the heater. This creates an oscillating gas column that changes direction 63 times a second. Movement = heat. Puls-air has been using this heat for over 30 years to heat workshops and halls of all sizes. Positive side effect: The pulsating combustion achieves excellent exhaust gas values.
Independence from gas
Nobody knows exactly how the energy supply will develop. A reassuring feeling to have his heating oil tank, the 100% control over his heating costs and reserves, in view.
