50 % of heating cost savings
Family business Fischaleck in the district of Freising has relied on Puls-air since 2022
The family business KFZ Fischaleck KG in Au in der Hallertau has been your automotive partner since 1991. All work is carried out professionally in the large and modern workshop. The company also has a car wash, which is available during opening hours. The company has been part of the 1a workshop concept since 2003. In Germany and Austria, this network connects around 1500 vehicle workshops. In a feedback letter, owner Bartholomäus Fischaleck describes his experience with the Puls-air workshop heating system from Austria, which has been heating the workshop since 2022.
Mr. Fischaleck found the performance of the existing hot water heating system to be inadequate. The heat was only distributed slowly throughout the workshop, which was particularly annoying when the doors were opened and closed frequently. In addition, the heat, which was released via ceiling fans, was always under the ceiling and not where the work was being carried out - in the floor area. The owner searched the internet for alternatives, which is how he came across the oil-powered Puls-air workshop and hall heating system in 2022.
Puls-air releases the warm air where it is needed and distributes it evenly throughout the room. The manufacturer describes it as creating a slowly rotating thermal air roll in the room. The warm air is released near the floor, where it is distributed, rises, cools down again at the top and, preheated, is drawn in again and again by the appliance.
The pulsating combustion used in the Puls-air heater, which is powered by heating oil or diesel, comes from engine research and impresses with an efficiency of 97 %. Combustion produces an oscillating column of gas that changes direction 62 times a second. Movement = heat. These changes in direction (explosions) are accompanied by a sound wave and a pressure wave, which also produce heat. In the case of ceiling fans, for example, a great deal of heat is lost through the pipes alone, which increases heating costs and reduces efficiency. Together with the previously described heat distribution in the room, most Puls-air customers save up to 50 % of the previous heating costs, according to numerous statements.
With a footprint of approx. one square meter and a height of approx. one meter, Puls-air is compact. It is also easy to set up. Route the flue gas outside via the roof using a 35 mm stainless steel pipe, connect the power, connect to a larger heating oil tank if necessary (8 mm copper pipe) - DONE. Puls-air is delivered ready for use on a Euro pallet.
The background noise level in workshops and halls is usually already very high. So it is a positive thing if the heating system only emits a humming noise of approx. 57 dBa, measured in a reference room. Many Puls-air customers state that this is one of the three major advantages of the heating system, along with economy and heat distribution.

There are 2 models of Puls-air. Puls-air Standard up to 600 m³ and Puls-air Plus up to 1,800 m³. Both values with very good insulation. For larger rooms, several devices can also be used in combination.
With conventional ceiling fans, a lot of heat is lost through long pipes. Heating large quantities of water in the boiler also requires a lot of energy. In addition, conventional oil burners have poor efficiency. With Puls-air, the efficiency is 97 %, which means that almost all the fuel that is introduced is converted into heat. In addition, Puls-air stands on the floor of the room to be heated, releases the warm air where it is being used and creates a slowly rotating thermal air roll in the room. The air is not always heated from 0, but is drawn through the heater again and again, preheated.
GF Schinagl also notices positively that the running noise of Puls-air is much more pleasant and that much less dust is whirled up than with the ceiling fans.
