Satisfied with economical heater from Austria
Managing director and master mechanic Martin Mocker recommends the Puls-air heaters.
During a telephone interview in the summer of 2020, Martin Mocker, owner and master car mechanic, describes his experiences with the Puls-air heater from Austria.
For the past 10 years, owner and master car mechanic Martin Mocker has been pleased every month in winter with the savings of 200 euros he achieves with the Puls-air workshop heating system from Austria compared to his previous heating method (radiators). In the entire winter, he only needs 1000 - 1200 liters of heating oil at 2,134 cubic meters to heat his workshop.
Martin Mocker's business was founded in 1990, has 15 employees and a workshop with 6 workstations. In 2013, the company was renamed a limited liability company, and in 2008, Mocker and his team moved to a larger facility. The former Daihatsu authorized workshop has now become an authorized dealer for the Kia, Isuzu and Piaggio brands. "Local personality is what sets our company apart!" says Mocker.

Mocker himself mentions that the purchase price of the heater is moderate and that it virtually pays for itself through the enormous heating cost savings.
"We've cleaned the nozzle ourselves every now and then, but otherwise we haven't had to do anything to the unit in 10 years. Once we moved the unit a little, and the exhaust hose slipped out of the flange. No one noticed this for a week, because the unit hardly produces any exhaust gases. An incomparably clean combustion".
"The first employee to enter the store in the morning turns the thermostat to 18 degrees, and in less than 10 minutes the 2,134-cubic-foot workshop is comfortably warm. Overnight, we turn the unit back to a low temperature as frost protection. Another practical feature is that the unit can be connected to an external heating oil tank, so we don't have to provide heating oil more than once a winter," explains the master mechanic.
Owner Mocker can't remember, because it was so little effort. In any case, he said, he simply channeled what little exhaust gas was produced through the wall to the outside, connected the unit to an external oil tank, hooked up the power and was done. "I don't remember exactly because it was so easy."
