The master workshop of owner Peter Zobel was founded in 2009 and has grown steadily since then. Due to the constant growth, the space was no longer enough and the workshop was expanded from 400 to 800 m² in 2014. Now the company has 8 lifting platforms, 3 diagnostic stations and 9 employees. As a Bosch Service Partner, Zobel offers a wide range of services from inspection to diagnostic service. Only first-class original Bosch parts are used for all repairs, according to Zobel. Another outstanding feature is that we offer our optimal service transparently and at fair prices, making us a strong partner for our customers.
In 2016, d155 expanded its range of services to include Peugeot and since then has also offered the services of an authorized workshop and new car sales for the brand with the lion.
In addition to the administration area and a sales room, the company has 5 stages and currently a total of 10 employees. In addition, another workshop and reception hall is nearing completion. The new space is to be 10 m high, so that it is also suitable for commercial vehicles and motor homes.
"Due to the expansion of our business, we needed a heater for the extension, says Zobel. Through a user report in the trade magazine "Kfz-Betrieb" I became aware of the Austrian heater manufacturer Puls-air. After very friendly advice, I then ordered the first Puls-air heater in 2014 and was first amazed by the fast delivery," reported Zobel. Peter Zobel liked the pleasant room climate and the perfect heat distribution in the annex so much that he now also heats the existing workshop section with a Puls-air, which he ordered the same year. In the meantime, a third unit has also found its place in a separate room belonging to Peter Zobel.
"Plug into the socket and off we go!" This is how Zobel describes the commissioning, also mentioning that there were no problems at all when connecting to the central oil supply! "We were able to connect the unit to the existing heating oil tank in the basement without any problems, but the included 20-liter tank at the back of the unit is perfect for quick startup, Zobel describes. "Since the device meets all my requirements, I have already recommended Puls-air to some colleagues, who have also bought a device as a result," Zobel says with satisfaction.
Our employees are very satisfied with the heating, the workplaces are pleasantly warm even on extremely cold days. In addition, the heat is where work is done and not, as with ceiling fans, at the top of the ceiling. The heating oil consumption of Puls-air is extremely low and we save ourselves 50% of the previous heating costs, Peuker enthuses. What's also amazing about the heaters is their heating capacity. "It's -15 °C outside, I turn on the Puls-air and in 5 minutes the entire hall is warm!" I'm so happy with the heater that I switched my entire operation to Puls-air, so I bought a second one in 2016 and three more Puls-air heaters for the commercial vehicle hall in 2018.
Peter Zobel mentions that his heating costs have decreased by 50% with Puls-air. The devices would now consume the same amount for 800m² as his old heating for the previous 400 m². The employees also find the heaters very good, they report a pleasant indoor climate and warm feet when working, as the heat is released where work is done.
