Mit der Puls-air Heizung 50 % save heating costs

50 % of heating cost savings

Customer reference

Puls-air has also been used for heating in Switzerland since 2016.

Joe Knecht, owner of Knecht Automobile, describes his experiences with the Puls-air heating system from Austria.

Knecht Automobile has been serving its customers in Hettenschwil, Switzerland, since 2004. According to the motto "Quality is our driving force", repair and service work for vehicles of all makes is carried out in the in-house workshop. Knecht also has a wide and varied range of used cars.

Knecht enquired about a suitable heating system for his workshop, which is relatively high at 6.5 meters, so that work can also be carried out in winter in the company's own vehicle workshop.

During a visit to a trade fair in Frankfurt in 2016, Knecht was impressed by the Puls-air compact heating system from Austria. In the same year, he became the first Swiss to order a Puls-air heater.

Warm despite a room height of 6.5 meters

At the beginning, Knecht had doubts as to whether the heater from Austria would be able to heat his workshop, as it is relatively high at 6.5 meters. It soon turned out that the "slowly rotating thermal air roll" described by the manufacturer, which is generated by the heater in the room to be heated, does its job. The heat in the workshop is where it is needed, namely in the floor area where work is carried out.

How is the thermal air roll created?

Physically correct, the Puls-air heater is placed on the floor of the room to be heated. The warm air flows out of the appliance at approx. 50-60 degrees and is distributed in the floor area of the room. When enough cold air has been heated from the floor, it rises. At the top, the air cools down (as there is no ceiling fan or similar heat source), sinks back to the floor and is thus pre-heated and drawn through the heater again. The result is a "slowly rotating thermal air roll" which saves a lot of heating costs.

The counter-example would be ceiling fans, which push the warm air downwards against the laws of physics with a high energy input. The cold air is therefore located where it is not needed, in the floor area near the employees.

Patented combustion from rocket research makes a decisive difference to heating costs

Especially now, when all resources are more expensive than ever, it is important to heat efficiently. Puls-air has a proven efficiency of 97 %, conventional oil and gas heating systems have an efficiency of between 50 & 60 %. This means that only 3 % of the fuel used is not converted into heat. Thanks to a patent, only Puls-air is allowed to install and sell pulsating combustion.

Quick and easy commissioning without a technician

An important factor in Mr. Knecht's decision to buy a new heating system was the installation and commissioning. Most heating solutions require a technician to install the heating, which is of course associated with additional costs. The Puls-air heater is delivered on a Euro pallet and is placed on the floor of the room to be heated (at least 30 cm away from the wall). Plug in the 230 volt power supply, route the exhaust gas outside via a 35 mm stainless steel pipe, connect the appliance to the existing heating oil tank if necessary (a 20 liter tank is attached to the back of the appliance for immediate start-up). DONE.

Satisfied with consumption and quality

Mr. Knecht explains that the heating system has been in operation for 2016 years without any major maintenance. This is only possible because the pulsating combustion is so clean and free of combustion residues. Good for maintenance costs and for the environment!

Summary: Why is Puls-air so economical?

There are three main reasons for this:

  • Physically sensible positioning on the floor of the room to be heated
  • Patented pulsating combustion with 97 % efficiency and excellent combustion values
  • Slowly rotating thermal air roller (the air is not always heated from zero, but is drawn through the heater preheated)
